Reasons I Am Excited About Anathem Before Reading It
Published September 10th, 2008So I just bought Anathem today. I can’t wait to read it, here’s some reasons why:
- Hooray, Neal Stephenson!
- Short - under 1000 pages! (If you read Baroque Cycle, you’ll realize I’m not kidding)
- It has an analemma on the cover!
- It’s not set in the past.
- It sounds a little like A Canticle for Leibowitz - a classic story.
