Attack of the Minor Celebrities
Published October 31st, 2007I guess sometimes we get a little jaded in LA about how easily we can bump into minor stars at any time. Tonight I was at my girlfriend’s brother’s house. He’s in “the industry” as they all say in this town, and he’s done stuff you know. He always does up his house all Halloweenified. This year was pretty cool, but since he’s had children it’s nowhere near as elaborate in the past. He also designed and helped build the Shipwreck that was all over the news here lately.
So anyway, I’m hanging out and talking to people and one guy introduces himself as Joel. I thought nothing of it. I found out later that he’s Joel McHale.
I’m just glad I didn’t ask what he did for a living.
It would have been way more awesome if you DID ask. I mean, I didn’t even know that show was still on! It doesn’t make you jaded if you don’t get excited over someone you don’t even know. I mean, don’t tell me you wouldn’t get excited if you saw Kari Byron or something…
