  • You Know….

    Published June 24th, 2007

Sometimes, even when you’re proven right, even when part of you wants to laugh and say “I told you so” - even when you know you won, even though all that…

…sometimes I still feel bad about it, and got the short end of the stick. Sometimes winning alone isn’t everything. It almost feels like I won and my teammate lost, even though my teammate was the one who said I was dragging them down. The opposite was true, but it just seems wrong, like a missed opportunity.

I won, but there’s been no prize for it. Part of me wants to gloat, and part of me wants to help. But the teammate is too proud to ask and I don’t know that I would. Personal dilemmas are lame.

In a trite way, its remeniscent of the Kobe-Shaq thing. They were great together. Shaq gets sent away, Kobe thinks he’s better off without him. But Shaq ends up with yet another ring and a peaceful time at the end of his career, and Kobe struggles until shit really hits the fan.

Gotta get some sleep, going hiking tomorrow. Pictures will follow this week sometime, of course.

At any rate, I will be online soooon during the day so I shall talk to you soon! :)
