Oh That’s Some Bad News
Published June 12th, 2007Man, nothing worse than hearing that one of your childhood icons has passed. 8( Apparently Mr. Wizard, AKA Don Herbert, died today. Bill Nye was a pathetic amateur compared to Mr. Wizard. I used to watch him all the time as a kid. (That shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who knows me)
This guy was one of the best guys to ever be on TV. No doubt. He taught science to kids in a fun and engaging way. He was a genuine hero in WWII. I really looked up to this guy and I really, really liked his show. A lot.
He will be missed.
