T3I-???
Published May 14th, 2007There’s a Nancy Drew movie coming out. I have no idea what the plan is for that, and it doesn’t really matter. But it did remind me of a series of books I read as a kid that I just loved. And, straining to remember what it was - I couldn’t. How could I forget? I remembered that there were 3 boys who solved mysteries - and that was it. I was so upset that I completely forgot all about a huge part of my childhood reading experiences! I never read Nancy Drew, I think I read maybe one or two Hardy Boys books - but this series, I must have read 20. And yet - complete blank.
Today I stumbled across someone else who had read them- and remembered what the series was! I was so excited! It was “The Three Investigators” - why that escaped me, I have no idea. Turns out they have quite the following around the web, and there’s even a movie (that will probably butcher it all) coming out. Going over that stuff — its all coming back. Such great stories! So awesome. Drew and the Hardys can suck it, T3I rules. I wonder what happened to all those books….
