  • I suppose I should go on record…

    Published April 3rd, 2007

So that I don’t look like a johnny-come-lately, I suppose I should go on record with some baseball picks. We can look back at this in September and laugh.

    American League
    AL West: Angels
    AL Central: Twins
    AL East: Yankees
    AL Wild Card: Red Sox

    National League
    NL West: Diamondbacks
NL Central: Cubs (oh please oh please oh please)
    NL East: Mets
    NL Wild Card: Phillies

    AL Playoffs
    Angels over Red Sox
    Yankees over Twins
    Yankees over Angels

    NL Playoffs
    Phillies over Cubs
    Diamondbacks over Mets
    Diamondbacks over Phillies

    World Series
    Yankees over Diamondbacks

Ugh. I feel dirty predicting that now. I can also see the Brewers coming out of the NL Central, but it plays out the same after that. What would blow all this apart is if the Tigers come out of the AL Central. I think they could go all the way if they make it. The Blue Jays could get the WC in the AL East, but I don’t think they go anywhere. What would be a more likely sign of the apocalypse - the Cubs winning it all, or a Royals-Pirates World Series?

    Diamondbacks!!!

A big fat middle finger to you. Naw actually two man, you get two fatty middle fingers, two glaring eyes, a spew of expletives, oh and yeah, a fart in your general direction.

Well I didn’t say I was happy about it! Sorry! 8( Like I’d pick the Yankees to do anything if I was picking with my heart!
